You keep mentioning the overflow. Are you sure it doesn't have a minor leak? IE; with the overflow empty are you actually low on coolant in the rad?

All done except for an alignment after Christmas. A note; If you plan on replacing the Lower Control arm bushing you will have to move the rack& pinion out of the way to remove the sleeves and bolts on the control arm itself.

Did you remember to loosen the control arm bolts (upper and Lower) and then re tighten them only after it was sitting on the ground? This helps also. Should be done when ever you install a lift or change anything on the front suspension.

Has it had any timing work at all or just not one since 100k? At 200k, even if it had one done at 100k; it is time for another. Use teh water pump/timing belt as leverage, you;ll be spending some cash on that. Also check the lower ball joints if you can. If it is the original to the vehicle...

I cannot get the Upper Control arm bushings out of the UCA.... Any suggestions?

Got the timing belt job finished. Also did the water pump, seals, thermostat, hoses, radiator, and belts. Glad I did the pump, it was leaking, the last time it was done was the last timing job at 89k, looks like the previous tech had just used RTV to seal it up. I also got the entire right...

Finished installing the new timing belt, water bump, radiator, new belts and hoses. Removed the entire right front suspension. Should have that side rebuilt tomorrow and then onto the left side.

I'll have to ask, I just sent my friend a text with a pic, and he went and got me the right bolt.

The bolt is available from toyota still. Picked one up from my friend today.
