I did the speakers sub and dedicated amp kit. Plug and play was important to me as well as reliability and keeping the stock look. I’ve done a ton of car stereo installs but I just wanted clean and simple as this was my first new car. This was that. Fishing the wire behind the dash was hell...
I'lll prob go the direction you went! If this wasn't the first new car I'd ever bought I'd gamble on it.
But maybe somewhere down the line some folks will try using the two shorter ones with the Eibachs or Wescotts they score from some folks eager to get rid of their extra one.
This is great info. Thanks for reporting back - I think I’m gonna go for it.
I wonder if one could take two of the right side shorter struts and add taller springs or the Westcott spacers to make them work. Could create and after market for the folks that are selling the extra unused strut.
I have a set in good shape from a '21 Venture I've had since December. I split my time between eastern MA and NYC.
(Also have the Yakima basket and tires that I took off the day I bought it)
apologies for my lack of understanding and not trying to thread jack here but what is the advantage of a lower spherical bearing over a rubber bushing?
Grabbed a blue Venture with KDSS in December. Got em to about 500 below invoice. Absolutely love it. First new car ever. Been amazing in the Northeast snow!
I just bought a 2021 Venture and I'm interested in the same thing! I'd put an order in if I knew a bit more. Please keep us updated! It looks like the new spring is a lopped off one at the base rather than a ground to flat one?
