Same issue here on an '05 kept outside in south Texas. Found the replacement part. Looks like it's simply a matter of popping out the old portion of lower window trim and fitting the new strip in its place?
Are these standard valve cores? I have one that audibly leaks anytime I check the pressure, but I'm able to stop the leak by nudging the core until it re-seats. In the long run I'd like to replace it. This is on an '05.
