I have used the Northwest headers on 2 trucks. They fit and work well. The hard part is removing crossover pipe. Best of all, your head gaskets will live longer :boink:
The bottom end will last for 100s of thousands of miles if nobody messes with it. The problem is with the heads. It's impossible to know how many miles the gaskets and exhaust valves will last. The harder you work the engine, the faster they will fail. Most of the 2nd gen head gaskets I have...
My 3.4 gets the same mileage as 3.slow but has more power :wink2:
About 200 miles per tank.
3.0 is ok but always keep eye on coolant level. When head gasket fails you'll start using coolant.
I'm rollen on the M/T classic 2 with street bead locks. They are 15x8 with -30 offset and 3-5/16 backspace. They give just the right width on the trail and the "bead-locks" protect the wheel. Tires are 35x12.5 goodyears.
