2006 4Runner Rear Window Exploded This describes what happened to me yesterday. Added issue is that the glass pieces affected my ability to open the liftgate (it's closed and can't be budged). My 4Runner is in the shop right now, looking at $450 to $750 if the liftgate motor needs replacing...
