check the following... If you have any vacuum leak, will give you a P071, take a look at all of your vacuum hoses and replace them if they cracked or loose. And inspect the pcv grommet or just replace it, their cheap. You can tell if you have a vacuum leak when you press on your brake pedal...

Changed out my rears on Sunday I bought the same Trekmasters shock & struts a while back, finally got around doing the rear shocks. It went together pretty easily, so far no problems with leaks, they ride smoother/softer than the KYB 's I had on. 4runna08, I hope everything works out for ya.

I'm no brake expert, perhaps check out your pads, if you have non-oem pads which, they may not fit or set properly, sloppy probably would be more accurate to say it.
