I am 6'3" and my wife 5'10" I never was really concerned with the platform and headroom. However if she wants to get on top of me then there will be no room for her head. I am now seriously considering not building a platform because who just wants headroom???

CS 144 Alternator I installed the CS 144 altenator in my 2001. I ordered the adapter pigtail so I would not have to cut and splice the harness. Also let's me swap the original back in should I need to in a bind. So far after going back and tightening the belt all seems to be well.

Got in a fender bender. I literally bent my fender a tad when avoid a high velocity accident by shoving the vehicle a bit further to the right of his lane. Small dent for me but creased his door pretty good. But I am happy I avoided deploying my air bag.

No rear heater. Only the kids sit in the back and those little jerks can freeze.

My wife doesn't know it but every time I go to Lowe's to fix something on the house I buy a hand tool of some sort. Have a nice collection of sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers. Been eyeing a torque wrench.

I have started to replace hoses with stuff off a reel rather than pay for preformed hoses. I don't see an issue with this. It is a lot less expensive. Is there a down side to doing this?

Definitely a love affair with the truck. My wife bought me a $400 Craftsman toolbox for our anniversary. She doesn't know I found a receipt today by accident. It is perfect for working on this truck and keeping my tools organized.

I have tried to figure out what to adjust. Nothing seems to have any adjustment to it. I removed the striker and the latch both in direct holes no slide to them. Is there something I am missing?

I changed my spark plugs and found cylinder 5 & 6 plugs to be saturated with oil. Not the part that screws in to the block. But the porcelain up was covered in oil. Am I looking at bilateral valve cover gasket leaks that happen to be at the back of the covers or is there another source that I...
