Keep commuting in my T4R or buy a Camry?

Yep, I agree. My summer vehicle is an Acura RSX (basically a civic) 5spd standard. Small, nearly double gas mileage, fun to drive, easy to work on. Bought used.

what color do you wish you could get on a 5th gen?

Though I like my cavalry blue, if I could have gotten a Pro or SR5 in Blizzard Pearl I would have jumped on it. I like the color, just did not want the limited model.

    Coolant leak maybe?

Well crap.... Didn't read these replies this morning and went ahead and cleaned it up. Topped off the reservoir (it was empty), checked the radiator (it was full) drove around for awhile and checked it. Not a drop. I'll just keep a close eye on it for now. Did not really want to take it to a...

    Coolant leak maybe?

2018 completely stock Pro with 5000 pampered miles on it. Can you guys tell me what I'm looking at here (serpentine belt area)? A major repair? Was there a recall on this? Truck is less than 3 years old so I assume under warranty, but has not seen a dealer since I took it off the lot new. Yep...

    Confused test drive

When I picked up my vehicle, I never even test drove it. It's a PRO, why would you? Anyways, on the way home I thought, gawd, this thing is a dog. So, a tank or two of Premium (non-ethanol) fuel and with a few miles on the engine, it started moving along quite well. That, or I just got used to...

Harbor Freight Jack Stands - Failure/Recall

So, I had no receipt, but took them back to the store and they checked, found that there was a recall and refunded my money back to my credit card. They did ask if I wanted to swap..., nope.

    Are 2021's getting led headlights?

Not only that, but Japan invented the blue LED... It was while working for Nichia that Nakamura invented the first high brightness gallium nitride (GaN) LED whose brilliant blue light, when partially converted to yellow by a phosphor coating, is the key to white LED lighting, which went into...

Harbor Freight Jack Stands - Failure/Recall

Thank-you for starting this thread. I have two of the 61197 and two 62393 jack stands. Upon inspection they are exactly as described in the you-tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwcWdKwPvhI I will be getting rid of the 61197s immediately if not all of them. Thanks to the others for good...

    Did you pick your color?

I set out for the Cavalry blue very early in the model year, placed an order which was eventually cancelled by the dealer. The next color on my list was blizzard pearl, but I did not want a limited model, so that was out. Luckily, after 6 months a local dealer got the blue Pro and I was able to...

Hope for the best prepare for the worst. How are you prepping for the covid-19 virus.

I won't either, but I'm continuing to work. See, I'm under public payroll (after 38 years in a private, multinational corp). This crisis has little effect on those continuing to get a paycheck, i.e teachers, politicians, public 'servants' etc. The private sector is the area where all the...

    2 observations

Yeah, hitting the brakes a few times will also warm the wheels/tires up as the rotor sheds heat. Maybe one side is grabbing a bit more than the other.

    Fuel Pump Recall

My 2018 Pro is not on the list, but it was manufactured 11/17 according to the door jam label. And to think I was a bit concerned about buying a '2018' that was not manufactured in 2018...
