Yeah starting fluid can go in the TB and it will get you started if you have any spark at all. if it runs an quits then it may be your fuel pump. I wouldnt recommend doing it more than once or twice though as carb cleaner is very harsh on the TB, the cyl walls, and piston rings. Air intake...

I have Ice cold ac in my 86 with 386,000 miles on it right now i converted it an recharged it last summer and havent had any leaks yet! Im just curious if anyone else has classics that still have working ac. I live in Las Vegas so ac is a must here.

Also if not already equipped an aftermarket oil cooler kit would be advised just to keep that engine running good for a long time. there pretty cheap too an easy to install.
