I bought a 2007 4wd SR5 with 73k miles 3 months ago and paid 15K even.

V6 has regular spark plugs and should be replaced every 30k. V8's iridium spark plugs are recommended to be changed every 100k but I wouldn't wait that long if I had V8.

I don't know any mechanic since the car is located in a different town. I am thinking to have it checked out at Toyota dealer. We will have to meet some other day since their service department is closed on Sundays. By the way, Carfax auto check score is 94. Not sure if it really means anything...

As Jimithing suggested, I registered the vin number. The service record looks great except there was nothing between 41k and 61k and check engine light was on at 65k. It was due to charcoal canister going bad and it was replaced.
