I have a set of Yokohama Geolander AT/Ss. During the last lake effect snow event here in southern Michigan, I had no problems with traction while everyone else was struggling. I love the 4runner in the snow. The Geolanders are great in the snow, but quick to slide if there are any icy spots at all.

Did anyone find a "cure" for this? Was it the headlight switch? My 4runner just started doing this yesterday. At first I thought it was the Silverstar Ultras I put in two weeks ago.

My condolences for what you are going through. But, at people have said, at least everyone's okay, because it could have ended worse. And, at least you'll have your baby back and won't have to search for another one. Doing so is like looking for another companion after a beloved pet passes on.

Keep in mind it's common practice to ask for more than you're willing to take. With dealer's it's more pronounced. You can always come down but you can't go up! Offer him a lower amount, and see if he has a counter offer. Worst comes to worst, you pay the $16k. But you might be able to sneak...
