What speakers did you use for your doors?

My vote goes to Harper. I like what he’s done to his truck so far. I believe there’s a good mixture of practicality, creativity and taste. Plus, I think he does all his work himself.

Harper, did you install crossovers with your MB Quart speakers in the front door? If so, where did you place them?

Spraying the bolts the day before with PB Blaster should make the job quicker and easier on your knuckles.

I didn’t have to trim anything but it took me good 5 or 10 minutes to make it fit on the driver side. The passenger side was easy and snapped in without any resistance. Sorry I can’t give you any useful tips but it should fit without any trimming.

I have a quick question for those who installed the speakers in their doors. Did you guys use Dynamat or anything similar for soundproofing? I’m concern that by doing doors only there won’t be any noticeable difference in sound to justify the cost and labor. Any thoughts?

I’m thinking about using spade connectors for my speakers and was wondering what type of wire connectors, if any, have you guys used or recommend?
