I was not aware of the stock front springs being of different height. Yes the Toytecs are identical. I had not thought about the stock springs being different in the front,... I did have a .250" difference in height (drivers side being lower) in the front after the install of the front springs...

Filled it up and it didn't change anytihng??

Sorry, for not posting up how i solved this problem. I got a 1/2 in. round piece of steel 24 in. long and was able to turn the lower shock eye enough so that it lined up with the lower shock mount. It then slid right in just as the drivers side had.

It is closer to empty, I will fill it up in the morning and remeasure. Thanks!

Installed the Toytec Ultimate lift on my 03 SE 4Runner. Have the fronts adjusted evenly but there is a half inch difference from the driver side (lower) to the passenger side at the back? The stock springs measured the same height after removal. The toytec springs also measured evenly before...

The shaft will not rotate. The upper 3 bolts are loose. I will get a picture in awhile so as to help. Thanks

I purchased the ultimate 3" lift for my 03 SE 4Runner and started the install. Everything went pretty smooth until i went to install the shock/coil on the passenger side. I cannot get it to align with the lower shock mount so as to get the bolt through. The drivers side lined right up. Whats up...

Do I need to go with the springs? or can i just replace the shocks ? What is the reason for the springs, Lift ?

ARK_SWAMP_RIDER, Thanks for the reply. you are right I would have to repalce the shocks in sets of 2. I wouldn't mind a lift on the Vehicle. Do you know if the FJ Shocks are a straight bolt on, or would I have to modify anything? Thanks
