I have the same problem in my 2004 4.L V8 4x4 4Runner. A lot to fix it at the auto shop. I found a possible low mileage donor candidate locally for little money, but it's from a 2006 Tundra with the same motor (confirmed) and I think same 5 speed auto transmission the A750. But I'm not sure...
