Good thought! Had that happen once to an Audi I was driving in an ice storm. Thought I had a flat. Check inside those wheels for packed snow/ice! (If that easy fix is not it, you really should drop the driveshaft and check for binding.)

Yes! Take 10 seconds! And if you decide to fix it just use a couple of LIGHT tack welds as shown. You don't need to or want to weld the whole damn thing. 01thunder has confirmed that his shaft is loose. Tack it, you'll be happy you did.
