I'd rather change a filter element than have to disassemble the dash to unclog an A/C evaporator coil. If you've ever had one apart you wouldn't be questioning the filter's value. An ounce of prevention outweighs a pound of cure.

First, your T4R is 4Wd so it has 7000 lb towing capacity. The 2WD is 7300 lb. Don't forget to include the weight any fuel or equipment in the boat. Your best bet is a weight distribution hitch. It's cheaper & easier than suspension changes.

You're in the rust belt so eventually the rims will corrode & leak air unless you use steel rims/snow tires in the winter. When you change to new tires the shop should check them & polish them if needed.

For the rattle, sounds like it may be something rubbing on a plastic panel. Check the jack & over-the wheel-well storage covers for any powdery residue. These will be the contact points. Make sure that everything in the jack storage area is secure especially any screws holding things in place.
