Well, the 4Runner's time with me is coming to a close. Picked this up today, 06 Sequoia Limited 4WD with every option including captain's chairs in the second row. The difference in comfort and power is incredible. I'm thinking we'll have one more adventure with the 4Runner before selling it.

Yep it still cranks over and starts as normal and I haven't noticed any ticking (especially not like this). I may hold off on pulling the starter until it happens again. I'm just hoping someone else has experienced this.

265/70r17 is almost exactly the same size as 265/75r16 which a ton of people run. You should be able to find tons of pictures of that. Look at my build thread, I have a 2” life and 265/75r16s. I think it looks great, but others might think they’re too small.

Thanks, and I'm really happy with them, especially on the front. The rear is a hair stiffer than I'd like, but that's from the coils. To match the 890s you'd probably need to be on the 3rd of the 4 clip settings so your coils would have more preload than mine, so I'm not sure how that'd affect...

I was having the same problem in the dark/rain on the interstate and just switching to the 99-02 housings made a huge difference. Mine aren't even OEM (TYC off of Amazon), but they made big enough of a difference that I decided to not do the projector retrofit.

I don't know how to weld, so I had a local guy do them (worked for Low Range). He said the 4xInnovations sliders looked really well made and didn't really have any complaints. I still regret selling the 99 to this day. I sold it right before I got married to get something a little more...

Good catch on that typo. I didn't paint them just because I ran out of time before I dropped them off to be welded on. I'd recommend painting them before because doing it after was way more complicated than it needed to be haha.
