5K for the fogs will be useless in the snow/rain/fog. I'd go with 3K for the fogs for best visibility under harsh conditions.

what kind of projectors are those? they look like fog light projectors, so they must not be made specifically for HIDs. if that's the case, you shouldn't waste your time n money on a retrofit. if you're gunna do it, then do it right with real HID projectors.

i agree, make sure you have a nice coat of wax on your car. i can't believe that it still etched even though you got to it within minutes. was it really hot and sunny out? how recently did you wax your car? and what the hell did that bird eat?!?!

the only way to battle them is to get it off ASAP. I have a black 4runner and it has been crapped on many times, but no etching so far! i keep a quick detail bottle and towel in my car just for bird crap, tree sap, etc....

how about the beam pattern of the s2000 vs. the oem reflectors? they should project the light farther and wider. and there are no hot spots, so the light will be more evenly distributed on the road compared to t4r reflectors. personally, i got the projectors because i loved the look of the...

I've had Nokya artic white installed on mine and they supposedly put out more wattage, but those blue colored bulbs put out even less light than the factory bulbs.:arrow:
