I'm curious as to why you're running premium gasoline. The 4R is supposed to be able to run on regular. I suspect you wouldn't see a mileage improvement on regular gas, but at least you'd be saving some money.

Anyone want to volunteer to take their 4R into a Lexus dealer and *pay* them to install the clunk fix? Any idea of how much this would cost? If it's not too steep it might be easier than harrassing Toyota. Time is money, after all.

Is it possible to get a GX470 without the 3rd row seats? Lexus' web site lists it as "optional" but when I do the web "build your own" it doesn't seem to let you build one without the 3rd row. Please advise. Thanks!

Actually, the swirly looking trim is a big problem with the Limited. It's supposed to be the classy, elite trim level, but that cheesy fascia just ruins the moment.
