Blacked out bits on Cavalry TRD Pro

No, the entire door handle was replaced. Body shop took off all the door panels to replace.

Blacked out bits on Cavalry TRD Pro

Door Handles are same textured plastic as other parts of 4Runner. Picked them up from a website online (cant remember which one). If I did it again I would paint them. Toyota also offers painted ones.

Blacked out bits on Cavalry TRD Pro

So, I decided I’m going to keep my Cavalry Blue TRD Pro after lease ends (Contemplated the Lunar Rock TRD Pro). I get compliments on the color every week, and really can’t find another SUV that comes close. I decided to make a few aesthetic tweaks to customize making it look even better. -...

I hear a quick single “beep” in reverse, what is it?

This started happening after leaving it parked at airport for a week. When my 4Runner sits for awhile off, overnight for example, when I put it in reverse I hear a quick single “beep”. What is that?

    Voodoo Blue sitting unsold....hmmm

I dont think these VooDoos are moving as fast as the other years special colors. There was one at my dealer unclaimed on arrival. Cavalry Blue is a hard act to follow :whipping2

    A case of the BLUES...”POLL”

I dunno, that VooDoo is bright in person...like “can see it from the moon’ bright. I looked up the shoreline blue color you had and it’s definatley a more subdued color that might blend in to its surroundings.

    A case of the BLUES...”POLL”

 Some side by sides of everybody’s fav blue TRD PROs. Both look great, but do you prefer the Cavalry Blue or the VooDoo Blue (the one with the white plastic on the hood)? It’s to late to turn this thread into a poll so vote in your response.

    undercoating rustproofing

Youre welcome! I use the cans for touch ups, but the product is a bit thinner this way. For your first and yearly applications go to a professional Fluid Film applicator shop. Shouldn't cost more than $100 first application and much less for yearly touchups, which is well worth it. The product...

    undercoating rustproofing

It soaks into the rust and completely stops any further corrosion, yes. You can actually see it reacting with rust by bubbling and foaming when it makes contact.

    undercoating rustproofing

The main reason Fluid Film is ideal is the exact same reason some folks here are against it. It doesn't create a hard seal, its Fluid, soaks into the metal, gets into every small space under the frame, inside the body, inside doors, inside engine bay, even on hinges and latches. Hard seals...

    undercoating rustproofing

Get it proffesionally applied once or twice a year and youll be rust free. Ive driven 500+ miles over 70 mph in a downpour and it didnt come close to washing off. During winter give underside a light spray of water to wash sway salt. Honestly, if Fluid Film was applied correctly you dont even...
