I up-sized to 275/70/17 BFG KO2's about 4k miles ago on my 2016 TRD Pro and my average mileage went from 17.4 down to 17.3. The tires are a huge improvement over stock Nittos, and the difference in mileage is negligible. I wouldn't go back to stock. Maybe take a look at what air pressure you are...

Slapped on some new BF Goodrich AT- KO2's- 275/70/17 to replace my original Nitto Terra Grapplers- Nice upgrade for sure!
