    Chim's 99

How bad was the damage on the armor on the 99? The bumpers looked pretty good all things considered. Maybe you should sell them, or give them away, you know, like charity. I know a poor guy who could use them :D

Tre9er's (probably) very modest build thread PIC INTENSIVE

As I've said before, I'm not really what you'd call a "wheeler", so I don't intend to impress anyone with these pics. I will say though that there were some 2-3' ravines through these trails, and this is the first time I've genuinely needed 4LO. In fact, I'm often amazed at how much I can do in...

Been a while, might as well blow the dust off this. Selling my house, and the Runner needs suspension work. Have the LBJs, rear shocks, and the plan is to get 5100's up front, 891's rear. Probably do TREs and all that jazz, rack bushing, etc. Here are a few pics from the WMA nearby, just for...

    Prime's DD Build/Adventure Thread

Found this build whilst refreshing my memory on the 5100/stock front spring setup. I've been MIA for a year+, haven't had any money to work on the Runner...BUT: I'm selling my house and my wife agrees we NEED to work on the truck, due to suspension struggles pulling our little 3k lb. camper...

    Sharpe97's Collge Kid Build

Aye, near Waynesville! Love that area, on paper, making a trip soon to check it out in person. Still waiting on J.O.B. stuff, but fingers-crossed :offtopic:

OP, thanks for fixing the pics. Whereabouts in NC are you? I may be residing in your fine state in the coming months.

    ome 861s 6" lift?

    Holy needs-bigger-tires, Batman!

Got my lift, about to install, am I missing anything?

You'll still tear boots. Plan to remove the clamp and stretch the boot once your lift is on, then reclamp it.

    Sharpe97's Collge Kid Build

perhaps you can fix the pictures? Only the OG pic of the runner is working.

    Cooper AT3's?

I have them, haven't wheeled, but they're great in winter and were fine in the mud the few times I had them in it. Fairly quiet on road, not overly aggressive lugs. 265/70/16 here, wanting 75s but only a year old. Need to check load range, but dealer had them put on before I bought it, so...

addicted bumper finally on and sprayed

looks like you sprayed some of the body underneath the bumper, too. Did you rough it up first, or just shoot it?

Nice man! We were out there last year but never did any wheeling. Rig was loaded up with camping gear for a week-long trip all around NE (and we ended up in the Black Hills on a whim, too). We went down some dusty roads and basically destroyed the interior of the rig last year. Didn't know...

    AISIN Manual locking hubs

I believe you CAN. Let me dig up the post. The whole half-shaft will work. Go to NAPA, ask for a CV axle for a 95.5-04 Tacoma with manual hubs. Or if you have some good ones that came from the yard with those spindles/hubs, you're good.
