WTB - Roof Tent 3rd gen 4R $1000 Canton, GA

After this summer, I am planning a multi-week journey out into Death Valley to go visit the ghost towns, do some photography and torture test my FPV equipment. I am looking for a tent that still has some life in it, but has been neglected or is no longer needed. Doesn't need to be big, I will...

    Forum is unusable

My main gripe with this forum is the so called search Enhanced by Google! is pretty much useless. It's better to use the search tool built in to this forum software. Also, the constant cloudflare checks every couple of minutes is kinda bonkers imho. Once I have an authenticated token, you'd...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

One last peek up inside the dash on the passenger side. This is above the return register for the A/C. There is a group of plugs taped to outside of another leg for the wire harness (circled in green). I wonder if this is where I will find the diodes I am looking for? Please let me know... I'd...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

This is a crop of the Wire Diagram I purchased for this model and year; -- Toyota 4runner 2000 SR5 4WD I have circled the diode where I believe I am losing ground with the wire harness in red. The location is noted in yellow, but again, I cannot seem to locate this unit. Any thoughts or...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

This is the DRL Main Relay - it is situated on this circuit board that vaguely reminds me of my old Nintendo systems. My question here is if anyone of these diodes could be responsible for connecting the ground side of the DRL Relay #4 coil to the wire harness?

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

This is a photo of the stalk. I removed the connector for the combinator switch and attached a blade probe to port #16. I ran through all of the pins and got the expected continuity according to the EWD. I double checked this switch this morning before re-assembling the stalk. Those blue...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

Photos Good morning, I'm about to put this all back together so I can make it to work this week. I take it might be a few days before a true aficionado can respond to some of my questions before I go deeper into this project. For now a good 'ol bypass jumper will do. Anyway...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

Well, I've located this relay. Pretty much exactly where IBallEngineer said it would be. Except when I was looking for a cluster, it was stand alone, housed by a big rubber boot. I pulled that sucker off and began testing. On my bench power supply, the relay energizes and the contacts lock...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

I am trying to figure out where these diodes are in order to check this. I have partially taken apart the dashboard and so far cannot find the location of DRL Relay #4. Is it on the passenger side or the driver side? On some 4R 98-01 diagrams I see it behind the center registers, but in another...

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

I've done this several times over now. I am pretty confident the problem does not lie within the hot side as my headlights still come on, be it incredibly dim even with the Low-Beams and Hi-Beams combinator switch engaged.

No low beams, no high beams, electrical gremlins?!

Hey, it seems the original poster has not been able to reply, but I am having a similar scenario. The original owner had fog lamps installed after purchasing it and the installer ran splices on two wires from the Selector that go to the DRL main relay - Black with Red stripe and Green. The...
