This gives me hope! I've noticed a bit of a wobble/shake in my steering wheel the last few thousand miles (couple of months). I've had new tires put on (which cut down on road noise but now makes me hear other things). I'm due for new brakes here soon and will replace the rotors as well.
I'm...
That's okay! I'm super happy with the product regardless. The garnish is perfect. As for prep, I did a solid clean with alcohol and as I mentioned I kept it in my living room for a couple days to let the tape bond. I may try another reinstall now that the weather is warming up :)
I'm just...
Has anyone else had issues with the letters? I installed mine to the garnish first and let it sit inside my house for two days to give the tape time to cure/bond before installing to the truck. The letters stuck well but seemed a little "loose". After a month of midwest weather (temps ranging...
I'm not sure what everyone else has done but I had my silver valances plasti-dipped within a week of ownership. I really like the matte black of it too. It's been on for 2.5 years now and no signs of letting go (except in the rear where some tie-downs from my moto carrier rubbed through to the...
I have a white 2016 TEP that I use to haul my motorcycle hitch hauler! I ride an enduro so my bike sits around 225lbs wet. I didn't feel comfortable carrying much more than that. I hauled it from Iowa to Leadville last year on stock suspension and it wasn't very fun. The stock suspension was...
Pretty sure that's 3M VHB...should be fine. I've had plenty of wrecks with a 4-6" gopro mount on moto helmets and have never lost a hold using that tape.
I can for a fact agree that subscription is not needed. I've had one for nearly two years now. I downloaded the Garmin Earthmate app on my iPhone and use that for much of the mapping needs. Then keep my device strapped to the top of my pack or mounted to my handlebars of my enduro. Used it...
2016 TEP and I have the same issue. I live in Iowa so it happens quite a bit. My wiper blade warmer does seem to help a bit though even if not perfect.
Yeah I have a 16' TEP with Shrockworks sliders. Owned the truck for all of 1 month before someone in a 4 door red car put a very large red scuff and dent in my white truck. I was less than pleased to say the least. I honestly never even considered a slider to protect from door dings.
As someone who lives in Iowa and travels on gravel a bit...I have done this WAY too many times. I love opening the sunroof and cracking the rear window. The low pressure created above the sun roof pulls the air in from the back. Also pulls in a crap ton of dust!
Yup! I travel frequently for work. I installed my lift/spacers between trips (220 miles round trip) and checked each time (resetting for each trip). I'm actually traveling on the road again today and was right at 17 again with negligible wind.
I did NOT however fix my speedo for tire size...
I'm around 17 highway (neutral wind), 16 city. 2.5" Dobinsons lift, wheel spacers, 265 KO2's, shrockworks sliders. My lift/spacers where installed a couple weeks ago with shockingly little to no impact on my indicated fuel economy.
