    Bike Rack Recommendations

Same thing happened to me with my across the street neighbour last year. I was headed out for a ride with my bike on the North Shore rack. I ended up showing him how you can tilt the whole rack c/w bike(s) on it to access the rear hatch. A week later he had one installed on his vehicle... haha. :)

    Bike Rack Recommendations

Dug up some photos of the North Shore rack on the 4Runner... One thing with this style of rack is that the bikes stick out the same amount, whether you have 1 bike on there or 4. When folded up, it's tall enough that you can see the "uprights" out the back window, to judge how far away you...

    Bike Rack Recommendations

I am also running a North Shore Rack NSR 4-Bike rack for both our 4Runner and our Delica. Love this rack, including the fact that it can fold down with bikes attached. Easy and quick to load the bikes also. I highly recommend it! I'll have to dig up some photos of it mounted on the 4Runner...

Frozen Calipers - How many others had this problem?

You can add me to the list. Had the '05 Limited 4Runner go in for brake servicing at a local repair shop a few weeks back...sure enough on of the fronts was frozen at 200,000km. Had both front calipers replaced as a precaution. The 4Runner didn't pull one way or the other during braking prior...

    **Photography Talk**

Here are a few recent shots that I put up on Flickr The sunset from my front door in early January. These images, besides the cropping and stamp are straight out of the camera. It was quite the sight to see! <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/trialsmaster2/12493642845/"...

Any One Here have an on dash altimeter they like?

I wonder how the gauge pod out of an L300 Mitsubishi Delica would work/look in a 4Runner? Might be a bit tricky to mount it and make it look nice. Anyways, they came in 3-pod and 2-pod versions (I included a picture of the 3 pod one in our Delica). I believe that the 2-pod version has just...

    What else do you drive?

Hahaha, no the Mitsubishi Delica was something we never got in North America. The closest thing was the 2 wheel drive gas powered ones. I had mine imported from Japan, back in the fall of 2008, as soon as it turned 15 years old. According to what I have found on the internet (it's written on...

    What else do you drive?

Funny you should mention that. On the Delica forum that I frequent, there has been a small trickle of new members from the USA in recent months. As some of those Delicas have reached the 25 year old mark, there have been a few imported down there...at least one of which appears to be in...

My lightly modified 2005 4Runner Limited

Great rig and great photos! I think that's along the lines of what my '05 4Runner wants to look like when it grows up :)

Our new to us 2005 4Runner Limited

Here are a few photos from some recent off road trips we took. Nothing too extreme, just some forestry roads that are local to us. Family photo...soon to be +1 (the reason we got the 4Runner to start with!)

New '05 4Runner Limited owner in the Okanagan area of BC, Canada

First of all, thanks to all on this wonderful forum for educating me on 4Runners over the last several weeks/months. I'm pleased to say that my wife and I picked up a 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited last weekend. Not even 48 hours into ownership, I had plasti-dipped all of the emblems (they were...

Our new to us 2005 4Runner Limited

We picked our 2005 4Runner Limited this past Saturday and love it! Already plasti-dipped the emblems, since this particular one had nasty gold ones on it. Anywho, I took it out for a quick photo session a couple of hours ago. I'll post more pics once I find a more interesting place for...
