Do you have any trail maps of an "easy" path around that area from Silverton to Lake City to Ouray to Telluride? I am trying to make sense of the maps I am finding online, but I haven't ever done a trek like this before. Picked up a 4runner (ORP) last week and am hoping to drive through this...
