Anyone from Mesa AZ? Need help. Located a LC 80

Looks like the posting has been deleted? I'm in Chandler, which is next to Mesa if you still need someone to go look at it.

    Level 8 MK6

Unfortunately no. My buddy isn't able to make them for me anymore, and I sold the last sets. Wish I had some more!

    Crawford Eco Block

The Subarus were all tuned to around 11.0 to 11.5:1 at WOT while the BMW was tuned at 12.0:1 and some tuners were going up to 13.0:1. Direct injection allowed them to target more aggressive AFRs on the 335. The stock map on the Subarus had a target around 10.2:1 if I remember correctly. I'm...

    Crawford Eco Block

I guess I'm failing to understand how it's so hard to figure out? At WOT (or at least in open loop fueling) using less fuel = leaner AFR = more power. Also using less fuel = using less fuel = more efficiency AT WOT. Therefore it DOES do both, just as my WRX, my two STi's, and my 335xi, all of...

    Level 8 MK6

Say I've been out of pocket for a while moving to Phoenix. Did you get my PM?

    Dippin' and Grillin'

Greedy, that looks REALLY good! I'm going to be dipping my front valance as well. Any tips to make sure the lines are nice and crisp when doing the dip? I heard that you want to pull the tape fairly early after the last coat. Anything else? Thanks!

    Level 8 MK6

For anyone interested, I still have a few sets of the first run of TRD decals that have the small amount of white on the edge. $12 for a set of 4 and $15 for a set of 5.

    2017 Wish List

    - Front suspension that doesn't brake dive - Make S mode also increase throttle response instead of just holding gears longer (seems to be one of the biggest gripes I see with 5th gen) - Could throw in a trail mode with very subdued throttle response while they're at it - 6 speed auto trans -...

    Best lift options for DD?

No problem. Thanks, I am very happy with the look and ride as well! To answer your questions. Stock size Wrangler Duratracs - 265/70r17. I honestly have not had it off road once yet. I only have about 950 miles on it and just got the lift installed last week. Will certainly post when I...

Throttle response on 14' 4RUNNER vs 13' FJ TT

5100's all around, Toytec Eibach 1.75" lift springs in front, Level 8 MK6 wheels with stock size Wrangler Duratracs (2 lbs heavier than stock - Level 8's are about 2 lbs lighter). That's it.

    Best lift options for DD?

I honestly don't know how the spring rate is compared to the Bilstein kit, but I think my route will be nearly the same amount of lift. I believe the Eibach / Toytec springs are 620lb springs. And yes, 5100's front and rear, different front springs that provide the lift instead of the 5100's...

Throttle response on 14' 4RUNNER vs 13' FJ TT

I agree with those who said I shouldn't have to. It's not that hard to create a simple switch for sport mode or economy mode. Or when you shift the lever over into S mode have it switch the throttle input as well. My 2008 STi had it stock. It had three throttle maps on a dial in fact. Then...

Throttle response on 14' 4RUNNER vs 13' FJ TT

After fiddling around with pushing the throttle a lot harder than I should have to and extensive experience with ECU / throttle mapping on two modified Subaru STi's and a 335xi BMW I can tell you with 100% certainty that the biggest issue with the throttle response has nothing to do with weight...

    Best lift options for DD?

FWIW I got very good results with my setup and accomplished pretty much everything you asked for in your original post. I spent about $700 total (did the install myself). My goal was 1/2" rake with about 1.5" to 1.75" of lift in front to avoid UCA's and drivability issues, better ride, no nose...
