What year FJ did you get the skid plate from and where did you get it?

ideal warm up wait time should only be 30-60 seconds just to get the fluids going. Any longer and your just wasting gas because your injectors are staying open longer to try and warm up the car...hence the higher rpms at start up. I would say 3 minutes for the frigid below zero temps though...

If you're not a DIY guy, then stick to Toyota. They'll use oem parts (filter, drain plug gasket, and reg. oil) and everything will be documented in thier database for the car's maintanence history. That way they can't say anything about you not keeping up with your car if anything mechanically...

I've had it for about 4 months now. I bought it from Autoanything.com Definitely must have gotten screwed then. My bar doesnt even have mounting points pre drilled to even accomodate any upper brackets.

I have the steelcraft bullbar on my 04...definitely flimsy due to the fact its only bolted to the frame on on the bottom. I've been looking around at home depot lately to try and make my own brackets that will mount from the frame to a higher part on the vertical part of the bars. Kind of hard...

i used the 3m double sided body panel tape. i put the strips of tape to completely cover the whole back of the emblem, and used a razor to cut out the open spaces of the emblem....time consuming, but worth it.

I went to a few local parts stores (autozone, o'reiley's, pep boys) and took a look at what they had. I wanted to see in person what the tip looked like, rather than order something online and have it not be what I expected. I ended up getting one from Pep Boys. It is the same exact style...

i concur with 2.5 for v8's....i just did the side exit tailpipe and used a 2.5 exhaust tip

Forgot to mention that the screw that goes into the lower (hard to reach infamous bolt-to-frame) tab was too small. I neede to dig into my box of screws I have and found one for each that fit. So before you install the lights, make sure the screws thread in before you get nearly done and...
