    How is it possible ?

I haven't seen your other threads, so don't know what you've done already. But easy, cheap, and good first steps would be to clean the MAF sensor and the throttle body.

I'm missing my tool to lower my spare tire.

That rear storage compartment is the first place new owners naturally look -- that's what I did. I don't think either of us are stupid. (Well... I'm not so sure about me!)

    Complete front strut assembly recommendations

I wouldn't put Monroe or Gabriel shocks on my truck if they were giving them away and throwing in a free gas card. I wouldn't use any of those brands. Personally, I'd go with Bilstein or KYB.

    SOLD....Thoughts on selling my 2000 4Runner Limited

If you decide to part it out, I may be interested in the wheels/tires. I'm in Maine.

Opinions on rust / frame condition

The frame is salvagable. You need to spend hours and hours (days) with a needle scaler stripping it down to get the rust scale off from it. Then it can be coated with POR-15 or your coating of choice. And will need annual treatment of Fluid Film or WD-40. However, that body is gone... and...

    Brake rebuild vs Tundra upgrade

Both WE and WL kits are available here for less than $300 if you have the cores to return. Otherwise, just you just have to eat the core charge (an additional $60 - $70 depending on which kit you get),

Can a hole in the radiator tank cause a vacuum leak?

I can't see your pics. Are you checking the transmission fluid level with the vehicle parked on level ground and the engine running? (you should be) Wipe the dipstick with a white paper towel or rag and post that pic so we can see the level and the color. A drop of fluid on the ground is...

    Score at the dealer!

I'll bet it was just that the Service Dept. doesn't use the concentrated coolant anymore -- they only use the pre-mix Super Long Life.

    3rd Gen 5 star

FYI: Sidewalls say 265/70-16 Nice wheels. Too bad you're on the wrong side of the continent for me! GLWS!

OK who's filthy 3rd-gen was featured in Simple Green's video?

Wow! People are paying $700 to have their cars cleaned? I'm in the wrong business!

OK who's filthy 3rd-gen was featured in Simple Green's video?

Agreed. He was quite thorough in many areas and did a real good job... but he was 95% there. Why not just go the rest of the way and do it right? The smell and water are going to be trapped in the padding. On a side note: how much does a typical detailer charge for a service like this...

    Insurance Questions

^^^This! OP, you could find a company that'll insure your 4Runner for a million dollars -- your premiums will reflect it though. And if someone else hits you, their insurance company isn't going to pay that -- they're only going to pay book value. Anything over that will be a claim against...

    Wheel Weigher Scales

I was going to say the same thing. Head to the dump with bag of trash. If you want to get all scientific and minimize the scale's margin of error, weigh the bag before you go. Then take the "in" weight and subtract the weight of the bag. Then take the average of that and the "out" weight...

    Outer tie rods and alignment?

+1 It's the first step any tech should take when performing an alignment... then make adjustments from there.
