the Toyota dealership in richardson tx said the actuator cost 870.00 the rest was labor. i'm taking it to another mechanic tomorrow. their should be some way to get the hubs to unlock. their is two vacuum lines that either pull or push the actuator i swapted the lines and it sounded...

i went to a dealership and they said the actuator need to be replaced but i'm having a hard time cuttting loose of 1625.00 dollars for them to replace it. is it O.K. to drive it with the hubs locked or is it something that needs to get fix A.S.A.P.

i'm having the same problem it started last week and the 4 wheel drive light will not go off. Did you find out how to fix it. Thanks for any help you can give me.
