    Tool Tip

You essentially made a torque adapter. If you dont have a welder, they can be bought from a few different companies. I have a few from Capri and they are great. Can be bought in a set or individually Torque Adapters - Digital & Analog | Capri Tools https://a.co/d/08xiJ4fP

    2000 4Runner on 260K Rear Diff Fluid

Yeah, this site has gone to hell. Its kinda sad... You're more likely to strip the drain/fill plug than something happen to the axle housing. Which is why you start with the fill plug before the drain. It should be 24mm or 15/16" 6 point socket. Dont use a 12 point. Id try giving it a test pull...

    2000 4Runner on 260K Rear Diff Fluid

Just change the fluid. Its not a hard job unless the drain and/or fill plug is seized. The new fluid won't mess anything up that isnt already on its way out from the lack of maintenance. Its just bearings and gears in there.

    2001 280k transmission failing- questions!

Id try Yotamasters. They've had a pretty good reputation for a while. I dont know if they do transmission rebuilds. But might point you in the right direction. They're in Corona Marlin crawler might be a second spot to try too. Much further away up north though

    Dash Lights lit up

You probably have one or both cats that are bad. You could try tricking the rear o2 sensor with a o2 spacer but if you have smog checks, it probably won't pass inspection. I ran one on my 4runner for a few years because of the p0420 code and it worked until a few weeks ago and I had to replace...

New here. New 2002 4runner owner

If you want it to ride like stock, go the KYB gas-a-just route. The bilsteins will be a harsher ride. I had them on my 99 2wd and swapped over to the KYBs a few years ago and the ride was much better. And yes the 4wd shocks will work on a 2wd

    Champion 3core aluminum radiator failure

Something tells me that the "bunch of engineers" at champion radiators dont know more about toyota cooling systems than the Toyota engineers

    Reverse Light Upgrade

I have pretty dark tint and couldn't see much behind me so I took a 2" LED pod and shaved it down to fit into my rarely used hitch receiver. The light is on a bracket that is held in with the hitch pin and the wires are on a 2 pin quick disconnect. Wired it to a switch next to the steering...

The 3rd Gen All Questions Allowed Thread

I know 4runners with manual windows are pretty rare so, maybe tacoma regulators would work. There are some available on rockauto for cheap for tacomas

How high up do you need to lift them? Would a set of car dollys lift high enough to put on?

    Rear LCA Bushing question

Id pull the nut and washer off (leave the bolt in place) and see if the hole is ovaled out. If it is, you might have to put some weld washers in place and welded on to make the holes round again. You'd also probably have to get some longer bolts from the added thickness
