Any Toyota techs on here? It sounds like there possibly could be an adjustment for brake pedal travel prior to engagement.

Interesting.... I drove a brand new SR5 the other day and the brake pedal was overly sensitive. Required no effort at all to stop, or keep it at a stand still WITH the A/C on. It sounds like a brake booster issue (I'm an ASE mechanic, dealt with issues like this on cars before) and maybe Toyota...

The only Nittos I'd ever consider would be the 555Rs on my 05 GTO, and even then I wouldn't buy them. I'd just get the BFGs if I wanted a street radial. thanks for the recommendation though!

If you're looking for handling you're in the wrong market IMHO. The KDSS will only mask the body on frame heavy SUV a tiny bit. I'd look at a Highlander Limited instead, just my 2 cents.

Is there and increase in angle over this vs the factory trail bumper? Nice looking product you have there OP.

Sounds like the vacuum line connected to the brake booster might have a hole in it or be disconnected.

For sidewall toughness? Something from interco SSR | Interco Tire The SSR is the only one you will get in 265/70/17 I didn't know they made a tire that small, I'm going to have a hard time choosing between these and the KM2 now :)

Those tires look GREAT on both of your vehicles :) I don't plan on driving my 4runner on anything like the rubicon trail, or serious rock crawling so sidewall strength isn't a concern for me. Thanks for the input though! I'll make sure to be careful with the tires aired down.

So does the lumbar crunch if you have it fully deflated? I have a bad lower back (two spinal surgeries) and the other day when I test drove a 4runner it was actually most comfortable with the lumbar support not even there. At least Toyota finally (or so they claim) has gotten around to...
