Could someone be kind enough to measure the inside to inside dimension for a Sport Roof rack? I need to make some parts for one tomorrow, but don't have a sport rack readily available. I know it's more narrow than the other style, approx 39.5" if I had to guess. Thanks if anyone can help (I've...
LFD definetly makes a nice cross bar setup. I believe they come predrilled with several holes for mounting other items. The cross bars I make are explicitly for roof top tents, and the mounts I use are modular to the roof racks I make.
Sorry I missed your original message, I don't check this forum very often. We have you all sorted out and in the mail. Thanks again! Best way to reach me is inquiry through the website which directs to my email.
Hello, hoping for some help. Can anyone tell me how far apart the pair of bolt holes are on the 5th gen factory roof rack? Trying to determine if the Gamiviti roof channel towers will fit the 5th gen. Thanks.
I have similar setup. The only thing I wish was different is that I could access the drawer with the back door shut. I keep my recovery gear / tools in there and if battery every dies or I get backed into something I'm going to have a hard time getting things out.
Selling my roof rack that mounts to factory side rails, going to with a full size rack for tent and other items. It's about 40"x57" and is very heavy duty. Sits about 1.25" above the factory side rail at the highest point. Pickup in Fort Worth, Texas or can ship for cost ($150?).
Check your battery grounds really well, and then inspect the fuse for it (dome maybe?) It isn't unusual to have a partially broken fuse. After that, I'd pull the cluster and check connections, esp if anyone's been in the dash before.
I'm not setup as a vendor here, so I won't post my business stuff out of respect for the site owners. Feel free to PM me and I'll get you the info. Thanks!
I build heavy duty low profile racks that drop in between the factory rails. I usually can make one for around $400, basically a 3/4 rack (I can make full length, but shipping becomes a nightmare). Shoot me a message if I can help you.
It's usually (almost always) one of the parts the t-belt rides on that fails causing belt break or jump teeth, and potential damage. It's pointless imo to change a timing belt at 200k and not do the water pump, tensioner, idlers, etc.
