Im considering doing the same thing, I plan on cutting the Limited bumper 2" underneath the Chrome bar grille and building a tube bumper with 1.75" DOM tube and some 3/16" Aluminum plate. Cutting it there gives another 8" of approach and a bit of protection Ive seen one done this way on an SR5...
