Just hit 267k in my 99 limited, still runs pretty good. About to start daily driving it, right now it's just my weekend driver.

265 75 16 trail cutter AT's and the 2wd truck does pretty well off road to be open diff.

Generally I prefer the looks of the 3rd gen. If price diff is more than 3k or so I would prefer the 3.4 truck

Sometimes I wonder how many 3.4's are running around at 200+ with the factory timing belt. When I buy one with over 200k I require timing belt replacement receipts or some serious negotiaton to compensate

So the pads are different as well? I didn't know that... I'd ordered some pads in the past and don't remember being asked to specify wheel size and never got around to installing them so I may be in for a surprise.

The kumho at51s are good tires, I know Walmart had them super cheap a few weeks back I nearly ordered some. Running 265/75-16 on my stock limited and they fit great, no rub even if flexing a bit and only lost about 1mpg.

That truck is beautiful I wouldn't take anything under 7500-8k. I'm in MS and deal lots of used trucks... Almost paid $7k for s truck like yours with 114k and belt receipt. They don't make these anymore; list it high and wait for an enthusiast to come along.

With coolant level full, I would crank it let the system pressurize and watch heater hoses for a leak, should be visible. Just put a radiator in mine, surprised at how cool it still ran even when it had gotten a little low and wasn't fully pressurizing.

Same issue on mine, front seat leather has hardened and cracked and torn all up... Been quoted $175 per seat to recover but just don't know if I wanna pay it yet.

On my 99 2wd 3.4 auto I got 20.3mpg best with 265/70 tires with mostly country road driving 60ish. Now with 265 75's and running 80-ish interstate it got 18.8 on one tank... Still not complaining because I've owned several others and the Toyota beats their recorded mileage in my experience as...

I tow a 16x6 utility trailer with 2 atv's regularly and it does fine. I don't think you'll have any issues
