Toyota dealership this morning said it definitely is the torque converter. Gave me an estimate of $2000. $1053.91 for t.c. 56.70 for fluid and $890 for labor. Charged me $115 to drive and diagnose. I’ll be getting my uncle to replace it for less than half of the estimate.
It was 60+ where I live yesterday. So in the past week we’ve had temps ranging from 19-60F. My truck does it no matter the temp, but now that you mention that, it did seem worse and it was worse when the temp was super low.
