I'm looking at either the Magg or Columbus. Which did the OP decide on? I really can't decide. The pros and cons for each make it tough. I guess the good news is I really can't go too wrong with either one.

I made it a full day but only completed half of the trail. It was muddy in a couple of parts and I didn't have a 2nd vehicle with me so I did some backtracking. And hiked in a couple of spots.

I'm heading back to the Daniel Boone Backroad Byway on Monday if anyone wants to join. It is a nice mix of paved, gravel, and dirt roads. Nothing that is too challenging other than occasional mud if it has been raining. Let me know if you're interested in meeting and we can set a place and time.
