We have 71500k on our 03 Limited V6 and we have replaced the pads twice and turned the rotors once. Plus, we have only had the 4runner since it had 36000k miles on it. We live right the exit of the interstate and she likes to stop fast.

Is the belt tensioning pulley easy to replace...if that is the issue?

I just got back from a trip and decided to take the bride out to dinner. We took her 4runner and as we were leaving I notice a new noise. It sounds like an electric drill that speeds up with acceleration. It doesn't seem to affect the power of the engine or anything else. Still makes noise with...
