Having this issue right now. The right rear side keeps leaking water in around the trunk seal even tho it's brand new. I had to get rid of the old seal because it was even rusted inside it, along the bottom area where it's installed. Did you find any solutions? Fall is back and now my trunk is...

Reviving this thread a bit... how difficult was it to add in the wires and pins to the '97 harness on the steering column? I'm looking to do this mod very soon and have a '99 stalk on the way. Thanks for any tips bruh!

How did you get the 01 stalk to fit?? I have an 01 one with me but the assembly is larger and doesn't fit into the slot. I have to get more parts from the donor car's steering column to get it to fit (my assumption). Did yours just fit right in?

I got a 97 Camry stalk put into my '98 and it works/fits but I don't have all functionality.. There's an extra pin going out from the stalk, which I'm guessing is for the fog relay, but I need to check. I noticed there's an auto setting, and when I click over to it, all lights go off...

How did you mount it? Trying to do the same thing myself but confused with options / fabrication necessary

Bump on this! Would love to know if anyone has done this? Curious to attempt mod but still pretty green with more complex wiring jobs. I would prefer to know its possible before tearing everything apart lol
