When I first got my '03, the steering was fairly tight and almost seemed "sticky" in spots. I sprayed the u-joint in the intermediate shafts with PB Blaster and it loosened the steering right up. I ordered the shaft today and I'll replace it my next free weekend.

About 4 weeks ago, I picked up an '03 SR5 V8 for $6700. Has 113k on it and needed a few little things such as a timing belt and front cv axles. It has the exhaust manifold leak and the rear brakes are sticking (front calipers were replaced earlier this year), so I'll get to those soon enough.
