Thank god its only a concept. If Toyota really wants to build a decent 4 runner to the consumer, check out this forum. A ton of ideas await them and it will turn into a killer rig.
That looks absolutely awesome passing the wiring through the roof through a marine grade pass through. I too hate the wires passing through the hatch lid and body. This looks like a clean job and if its marine grade that can last in a salty environment, pretty sure it will last on a vehicle. I...
That looks nice I may have to wait and forgo the ARB bumper... It would nice to see lights that use the existing wiring for fogs , turn signals and daytime running lights..
There's a guy on the FJ forums that lifted his 4x2 and put ARB tent on top. If you like the look lift it. Whats the worst that can happen. Pay a lil more in gas & different handling..
Well finally got my lift done on my SR5 ... I have The Old Man EMU all the way around with BFG All Terrians .. I put the heavy springs up front only casue I know I will be getting a front bumper at some point . Leaning towards the ARB and I put Meds in the back.. Now it rides just like my FJ did .
I got mine today. Will have to wait for the weekend to install. Instructions tht came with the kit are clear but the pictures could be a little bigger for us that don't actually like to read the instructions hahahahaha
Not even a year old yet and the passenger side of my windshield has about a 6 inch crack in it.
Curious if anyone has had a cracked windshield yet and how much did it cost to replace it.
I ran the heavys on the front of my Fj and mediums in the back. I qalso had the ARB front bumper on my Fj and thats why I ran heavys in the front. I plan to do the same for my 4runner. The ride was great with that setup on both the street and dirt
