Well, enough time has passed where I can confidently say I have resolved the issues. I did in fact have some air in my brake lines however the main problem was my front inner brake pads were broken in half and essentially disconnected from the backing plate... I have maybe 7500 miles on these...

Thanks for the replies. I have suspected the brake system may be in play. I've done a lot of reading and it seems like this system is pretty finicky. This weekend project is a full system bleed! :trophy:

This weekend my 07 with 168k got a new alternator and timing belt. I'm not sure how old the belt that came off was but it looked perfect! The only info I have for it was the sticker on the engine from 2014 with 87k on it. Peace of mind anyway!

I installed a 5ch Kenwood excelon amp under the driver's seat.. I modified (removed and blocked) the heat vent under the seat which gave me ample room with no adverse effects.. I know you're asking about different locations but IMO this is the best location possible..
