I am an avid overlander, not so much, rockcrawler.
I have worked on cars all my life, my wife is giving her V6 2000 4Runner SR to our 16 year old son.
I am here to learn more about maintenance on the vehicle.
Most of my off-roading is done in my 97 Wrangler.
I can see Zion from my neighborhood
The biggest thing around here is pay attention to rain in surrounding areas. People die every year at Zion from Flash flooding. Be aware and act accoringly and you'll be fine.
I would suggest using On-X off road to help you when your in the area.
