I recharged my a/c and it blows hot now

Don't forget when a shop does it they put the system under a vacuum. So if you do it yourself and drain it you're actually getting normal air in there so it won't function.

Best Replacement "plug n' go" headlights

No, basic geometry would show that instead of the straight lighting element you are substituting a curved one and would increase the reflections in unintended areas, ie glare.

    Conceal Carry

1st Rule of thumb: 1. Do you own research on CCW as it relates to a Motor Vehicle 2. CCW, don't let everyone know. That's why its called a CCW..You no longer have a CCW as you just advertised this fact to everyone on this forum Don't be a jackwagon. #1 I was asking for a 4Runner specific...

The HIR is for the high beam which is supposed to flood the area with light. It's an exact match for our lighting system just with more lumens. You're not supposed to use the high beams if there is anyone on the road in front of you. So if you think you have to tip the beam down then you are...

    Conceal Carry

Thanks for the ideas. I have a Sig 220 Carry with Hornady 185 gr JHP. And for the record you can pretty much get in trouble anywhere. I was shot at in a hotel parking lot in Brush, CO; in the middle of a blizzard. I've been in 3 attempted muggings in Omaha. And I lived through a deployment in...

    K&N Air Filter for 2008 4Runner

0 and no. I put it in mine and it just feels a little smoother. Take out the HCF (hydrocarbon filter) while you're at it.

5k is white. 6k has a blue tint and so on...google color temperature if you don't believe me. Changing the wattage has no effect. Science rules.

Don't waste your money on HID's (xenon). They don't work. I got the H9 Philips off Amazon, perfect. Repeat, HID's will not work in our stock projectors and reflectors, basic high school geometry.

I did the h9 swap and it is remarkably better. Took about 10min per light since you have to file a little ridge but super easy. Definitely recommend it.

Best Replacement "plug n' go" headlights

From Daniel Stearn (headlight professional): Your low beams take a 1350-lumen H11 bulb. You can easily, safely, and effectively replace this with a 2100-lumen H9 bulb, which you ought to be able to find locally by seeking the high beam bulb for a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu. Use a good brand (GE...
