3 remotes needed? Remote starter, alarm, notify me if alarm activated, & back window

I've got a Clifford 50.7x, which I believe is the same model as the Viper 5901 (both have the same parent company). I can remote start (supposedly from up to a mile away), roll up my back window, and get status feedback on my keyfob. I did not install it myself, because I was having all the...

    Maui Members?

My business keeps me in Seattle, but I get home a couple of times a year so it all works out for me. Enjoy your trip!

    Maui Members?

That was about 30 years and a few boards ago. Wish I did keep it, though. To be honest, I don't really know much about tides. I always just looked out the window to see if the waves were breaking! :surfer:

    Maui Members?

My first board was one of Gerry's -- a 6'2" squared tail with camo graphics. Haha! Ho'okipa/Paia Bay will likely be your best bet for surf in that size on a smaller day. Honolua will also get like that as will the breaks in Paukukalo/Waiehu (although I've never surfed there). The other...

    Maui Members?

I traded in my surfboard for a snowboard when I moved up here. Surfing in a 7mm wetsuit is so not fun!

    Maui Members?

Born and raised Maui girl here. I grew up about a mile up the road from Jaws. Winter is definately a north shore break -- intermediate to expert, depending upon the break. Ho'okipa comes to mind, of course, but it's a long paddle (200 yards?) to the break unless you want to surf the reform on...

    DuraTrac tires

Yes, it really does depend on what kind of tire you're replacing. I went from 245/65/16 pizza-cutter street tires to 265/75/16 Duratracs and lost about 2 miles/gallon. No regrets, though.

    Window Tint

20% seems to be a good match with the factory tint.

Has your 4r been on a ferry?

I've had mine on the Seattle area ferries a few times. Once, this a-hole's alarm kept going off as we chugged over to Whidbey Island. Turned out that a-hole was me -- the rocking kept triggering my motion sensor. Whoops! :withstupid:

    265/75R16 Duratracs on a 2002?

I bought a set about 3 weeks ago in that size for my 2002 Sport Edition. I have no rubbing. I don't have a lift. Absolutely love these tires!

    Duratracs = win

I picked up a set in 265/75/16 a couple of weeks ago to replace my pizzacutter 245/70/16s. I've put about 500 miles on them through a Seattle "snowstorm", rainstorm, and the one obligatory sunny day. Didn't take very many weights to balance either, which surprised me. These tires are...

How do you mount your ski's and snowboards?

I picked up one of those Aspen Multi-Sport hitch racks on eBay for like $70. Best investment yet. Hauls 4 boards. So with my Thule racks on top, we can take 8 total. Works just fine on my trips to Crystal Mtn.

    GPS Antenna Location?

My current Kenwood nav antenna is mounted under/behind the dash, completely out of sight. It works perfectly. My unit is the DNX-7140 so maybe that has a different antenna?

Here's a few shots of my Westin bars from 3 years ago.

Snowboard rack on the rear window

How about a trailer hitch rack? I believe Thule and Yakima have some.
