I decided to do a mini tune-up the other day. Cleaned MAF sensor (it was a little dirty), replaced air filter and plugs. Removed Denso K20HR-U11, installed NGK LFR6C-11. My Lie-O-Meter now says that I'm getting about 2 MPG better than before. I will have to verify during the next fill up...

I would love to know the details. BTW, what are the differences between the V6 and V8 receivers? I have a V6, and it has a frame mounted receiver. Mike

Never put graphite in a lock tumbler that is subject to the weather. When it gets wet, it will harden like cement. Use dry silicone spray.

I don't run premium, only regular ('08 V6 SR5). But, I make sure to try and buy only Top Tier gas. On another note, the FJ with the same V6 engine specifies premium...Why?
