I installed a TRD skid plate on my 2010 TE today. The part number states 2014+ but it fits fine on my 2010 TE. So that project is now in the books!

I just installed the 2019 TRD Skid Plate on my 2010 T4R TE. (no KDSS) This is the aluminum one with red plastic TRD letters. (PTR60-89190) Though the Toyota part claims only 2014+, I had no clearance issues what so ever on my 2010 T4R TE. Paid like $282 for the plate and ordered it online...

My 2010 TE has about 125K miles now. When I drive 80% city, 18 mpg. When I drive 80% highway, 21-22 mpg.

thanks! that sounds like a good suggestion. seems like a lot of owners are doing both front and rear spacers? i'm just wondering if this will look too high for my tastes by raising the rear more? (maybe not) dj

thanks! that's what i'm afraid of…the 4x4 shop guy said i prolly wouldn't notice…but i'm afraid i would. i guess i could have them put on a rear spacer as well, though i would be not level at that point. i don't wan the 1st gen nose high look though.

Has anyone ever done a Pro Comp 2.25" front spacer leveling only? If so do you have any pics? My 2010 4R TE is stock right now. I'm measuring about 1.8" lower front than rear. I am wondering if I went this route would it look level or would my front look a skosh too high? thoughts? thx… dj

Hi Laureena, yep-spot on. i spent about 4 weeks doing cars.com, auto trader.com, ebay, craigslist searches for a used T4R TE under $30K. Generally, only about 60 for sale across the US for 2010-2013 below $35K. now of course there are a few more, as not all dealers advertise on the big sites...
