I think I will do the same. I was thinking about doing a 1-inch BL if it will help eliminate driveshaft rub? I may consider doing a leaf spring conversion or maybe the F-150 gas tank conversion. Gotta figure out the Pros & Cons of each option I guess.

Thanks, I'm going to do the same thing! I have 98 as well and will try your method before doing a BL or Tubbing. I'm also thinking about converting to rear leaf springs or the F-150 gas tank conversion so I can have full travel without the drive shaft hitting the tank. Really sucks to spend $$...
