If you don’t have the shims, or they are worn, they will squeak. This plagued me forever.

Absolutely, in Alberta land, if Costco 87 is at 1.50 per litre, 91 is only ~.08 more, so well worth it by my experimentation.

The 4runner runs fine on 87, however I have done math via Fuelly, it gets roughly 10% more efficient with 91. So it’s a simple math exercise, if premium is less than or equal to 10% more than 87, it gets premium. We usually only fill at costco, so she almost always gets premium.

I used 303 forever, however I am a believer in Carpro Perl now, imo lasts longer, collects less dust, and depending on dilution is a great exterior plastic / engine protector, and an excellent tire shine.

I also just put Trail edition tires, completely spruced up the ol girl.

I’m too new to DM, is there a list of what you used? I searched for like a comprehensive list in the previous threads, I could be blind, but I wasn’t able to find one. If it’s not a bother would you be able to post a link of which video you used?

I have been looking at doing this myself, I’m assuming the LEDs were unable to dim via the dash control? Was it too bright?
