A few dealers in Michigan are offering lifetime powertrain warranties along with a couple of gimmicks, 9.95 syn oil changes, free tires for life, etc. Sometimes I wonder if all of the time I spend searching to save $500 is worth it.

I have had 2 4Runners and have always loved them. A friend had diesel Grand Cherokee and if there was one thing I was jealous of, it was the mpg that thing could get! Oh how I wish we could get a diesel version of a 4Runner!

Interesting topic. I have gone 85K on the stock Bridgestone Duelers in 3 years. Rotated every 5K religiously. Mostly highway driving (about 100 miles every weekday). They were getting pretty loud and cupped by the end. Ending up getting Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's at Costco for a pretty good...

Hello! Nice looking truck, my first 4Runner was a 2000, very similar. It was great! Drove it for 270,000 miles and never had an issue!
